Learn To Play Guitar At Jamorama
I have to say I love my guitar and I play it every day for at least a couple of hours many days even longer. Playing my cheap little Yamaha acoustic guitar makes me happy and relaxes me, almost like having sex does. If you’re learning to play guitar there’s no better place to go than Jamorama.
Back in the 70s, I know that dates me, I wanted to learn to play acoustic guitar. Now you need to know that I couldn’t sing a note, on key that is. I was so shy I couldn’t be around others with my guitar. Oh yeah, not only couldn’t I sing, I couldn’t play by ear.
I really wanted to play guitar so I bought one along with a couple of books.
Well after months of frustration I learned a few chords but couldn’t play a single song. Finally I gave my guitar and books away and didn’t really talk about it for years. I was embarrassed and disappointed that I didn’t learn.
It wasn’t until I was 47, more than 20 years later before I even tried again. Now I’m 58 and like I said at the beginning I play my guitar a minimum of two hours a day. Not because I set that time aside to practice. I do it because it gives me so much enjoyment and relaxes me.
What was it that had changed since I was in my early twenties? The fact that we had the Internet and access to tools and software to help people like me learn how to play guitar. Places like Jamorama, which can take you as a beginner or even advanced.
